The Zadie Jumpsuit

Everyone needs the Zadie Jumpsuit in their closet! This pattern by Paper Theory gets 5 out of 5 stars. Sewing your own wardrobe can be scary, but I promise the thrill of creating something you can wear is incredible! I usually stick to quilts and quilty things, but garment making has been on my radar for a while now. I made several outfits for Ruby last year, but got burnt out. Fast forward until now and I’m making a freaking jumpsuit and wearing one for the first time!

I had the pleasure of sewing with Mathew’s (Mister Domestic) newest fabric line, Catch & Release, with Art Gallery Fabrics. I chose a rayon substrate because I wanted it to have a light and flowy feeling. This Blue Bank Flora is the only rayon print, while there are three knit options, and twelve quilting cottons to chose from. You can ask your local quilt shop to order Mathew’s fabric if they don’t already have it.

And now, I bring you what you really want – pictures!

Y’all, I wish you could have seen me taking these dang pictures by myself. My husband stayed inside since the baby was sleeping and Ruby needed a bath. I dug out my tripod from like – ten Christmases ago – and got my camera attached to it and used the self-timer. Let’s just say I got a lot of exercise going back and forth haha.

Be sure to check out Mathew’s blog and browse around #agfcatchandrelease on Instagram to see the rest of the fabric party! There are 30+ makers and they are blowing my mind. Seriously, go check them out! Here’s a peak at the other fabrics in Catch & Release.

Happy Sewing, friends!
